MIDWAY – Funeral services for William M. Thompson, 72, who died in a Salt Lake City hospital Sunday, will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Midway Second L.D.S. ward chapel.
Mr. Thompson was born in Ogden on December 9, 1853, and married Mary Alice Clark, who died in 1902. He later married Elizabeth A. Stevenson.
Surviving, besides his widow, are four daughters, Mrs. Nettie Black, Callente, Nev; Mrs. Ada Norris, Cedar City; Mrs. C. Ella Christiansen, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Drucilla Broadhead, Heber; 26 grandchildren, a brother Robert Thompson; three sisters. Mrs. Sarah Coyle, St. Anthony, Idaho, Mrs. Mary Mooseman, Boulder, Utah, and Phoebe Thompson, Ogden.
Friends may call the Olpin mortuary in Heber Tuesday and at the home of Ace Davis in Midway Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will take place in the Midway cemetery.
