Roger Contrell Duncan was born July 28, 1980, to the parents of Deborah Kaye Boyd and the late I.V. Duncan Jr. who preceded him in death. Roger was the youngest of six children.
Roger graduated from Cody High School in 1998. He accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Second Corinthian Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Henry Hall Jr. Roger was currently employed at Detroit Medical Center as a Customer Service Representative and he was well liked by his coworkers and peers.
He was a quiet and gentle man who had a very special bond with his mother Debbie and he loved her to pieces, she was his rock. Roger was crazy about his nephew Cortez and the closeness he shared with his sister Traci was immeasurable. Roger also had a very special relationship with his Aunt Kathy and she was his shield.
Roger was affectionately known as "Roger Dodger" by his family and all of his friends called him Roger Relli. He was a sweet and very caring man who loved to shop and he always dressed sharp as a tack. He loved motorcycles, family gatherings, family road trips especially to Evansville, and hanging out with his friends. He adored his Jack Russell Terrier (Little Mama).
Roger made his transition on March 22 at home.
