Tomah - Mrs. Emily Bennetts, 92, died Tuesday, June 19, 1973, in a Tomah hospital after a long illness.
The former Miss Emily Frost was born in Beloit and was married to George Bennetts in 1903. He died in 1958. They operated a cranberry marsh at Water Mill near Tomah from 1923 to 1958.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ella Jenkins, Necedah, one grandchild, and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Ninneman Funeral Home, Thursday, where friends may call from 6-9 tonight.
