Marshall L. Frazier, 82, of Jersey Shore, passed away on Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Manor Care.
He was born June 17, 1921, in Rebersburg, a son of the late Charles and Ruth L. Stover Frazier.
He and his wife, the former Marie Brandt, would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 25.
Marshall was a radio operator serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
For over 20 years, Marshall owned and operated the Frazier Amoco and Carwash.
Marshall was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.
He was a member of the LaBelle Vallee Masonic Lodge No. 232, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge No. 1057, both of Jersey Shore and was a member of the AA Scottish Rite of Williamsport.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; one son, Stephen Frazier, and his wife, Deborah, of Pine Creek; one daughter, Cindy Roche, and her husband, Paul, of Yorktown; grandchildren Amanda Rooker, and her husband, Ben, and Abigail Roche, all of Yorktown; five sisters, Kathryn Spade and Sara Nearhood, both of Centre Hall, Frances McMullen, of Pleasant Gap, Betty Benner, of State College, and Phyllis Packer, of Carlisle; and three brothers, Russell, of Centre Hall, Charles, of Millheim, and William, of Jersey Shore.
He was preceded in death by a son, Barry, in Vietnam in 1968, his grandson Joshua in 1982 and several brothers and sisters.
Friends and relatives are invited to Marshall's life celebration beginning with a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ben Rooker officiating.
Interment will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
