Evelyn was the daughter of Sidney L Davis and Anna Belle Wallace. She married Robert D Barr 25 Nov 1937 in Atlanta, GA. Evelyn, Robert and Robert's mother, Kathryn, are living in Atlanta on the 1940 census and state that they had lived at the same place in 1935. According to a news article in the Clovis News Journal, Clovis, New Mexico, they moved to Clovis after Robert was discharged from the army, circa 1945. Another article from Clovis mentions Evelyn being in Atlanta during her father's final illness, in 1960.
