Rev. Melvin F. Daniel passed away at his home on April 9, 2013, at the age of 83. He was born on Jan. 13, 1930 in Lexington, Indiana. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a retired chemical worker for 40 years, and a bi-vocational pastor for 30 years.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 65 years, Estel; daughter, Leslie Daniel Watson and husband, James Watson; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy and wife, Jennifer Watson, Danielle and husband, Derek Duplessis; a great-granddaughter Mackenzie Grace Watson; a sister, Barbara Jean and husband, Clifford Bare; and numerous brother and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mamie Daniel; brother, William Daniel; and son, Jay Daniel.
