James P. Ternus, 63, of Lincoln, died on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in Lincoln. James was born on March 19, 1950 in Norfolk to the late, Maurice & Marcella (Huntemer) Ternus.
James had a big heart. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lincoln. James was a man who was devoted to God and a true Nebraskan, who loved the Huskers.
James is survived by sisters: Mariclair (James) Huhman, Columbus, NE; Jeanie Ternus, Roeland Park, KS; Muffy "Margaret" (Ralph) Semerad, Meridan, IA; and brother: John (Carol) Ternus, Columbus, NE.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sisters: Joan & Catherine Ternus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Monday (4/15/13) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3218 South St., Lincoln, with the Fr. Michael Morin officiating. Visitation will be (4/14/13) from 4-7PM at Butherus Maser and Love FH. Rosary will start at 7 PM (4/14/13).
Interment will be held in St Francis Cemetery-Humphrey, NE.
