Carl L. Chambers, 68, faithful servant of the Lord, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Monday, April 8, 2013, at his residence. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Cooper Street Baptist Church. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. You may visit Deacon Chambers 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Survivors: Loving wife, Dorothy Chambers; sons, Darnell Miles, Mark Chambers (Barbara); brothers, Ray Chambers, Arthur Chambers; four grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
