Mark was a loving husband, son and brother who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Baptist Faith.
He worked as an inspector for the Arkansas Highway Department for 22 years.
A brother, Michael Abbott; and his stepfather, John Kay, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Toni (Harris) Abbott; his father, Robert E. Abbott; a sister, Renee Kilpatrick and husband Michael of Destin, Fla.; brothers, Roy Abbott of Anchorage, Alaska, Tommy Abbott of Little Rock and Randy Abbott and wife Debbie of Vilonia; one niece and nine nephews; mother-in-law, Mary Jane Harris of Conway; sister-in-law, Tammy Grissom and husband Bruce of Conway; brother-in-law, Mark Harris and wife Elizabeth of Albuquerque, N.M., and a host of friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Bro. Tim Nolan officiating.
Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, with Willie Gwatney, Gary Plouch, Chris Abbott, Bruce Grissom, Mark Harris and Dewayne Hall serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are his friends at the Arkansas Highway Department, District No. 6.
