Anna was the daughter of Christian and Catherine (Whitmier) Bartz. She first married Lorenzo Staib. The couple had four children: Lewis; Paul; Alice; and Jean.
She then married Hugh A. Mullholand Jr. She was his second wife. The couple did not have children.

SYCAMORE -- Mrs. Anna M. Mullholand, 85, of near McCutchenville, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Tiffin Mercy Hospital of a hearat ailment.

She was born July 2, 1882 in Seneca County, the daughter of Christian and Catherine (Whitmier) Bartz. She was married to Lorenzo Staib and later to Hugh Mulholand.

Surviving are her husband, at Fremont, sons, Lewis and Paul Staib, both of Tiffin; daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Alice) Kinney, Tiffin, and Mrs. Charles (Jean) Hughes, Bellebrook, Ohio; a step-son, Lawrence Mullholand, Fremont; 11 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five sisters, two brothers, and a daughter are deceased.

Mrs. Mullholand was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ at McCutchenville and the Order of Eastern Star.

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Moore Funeral Home. The Rev. Ira. R. Harkins will officiate with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
