Lance O. Schuh, 53, of 6326 S 18th Street, died Thursday, February 15, 2001, from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born September 5, 1947, in Sheboygan, to Mando and Eldora (Aschenbach) Schuh. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1965 and attended the L.T.I. marketing program.

He married Beverly Tenpas in 1966.

Lance served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968 with the U.S. Army. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve until December 5, 1972.

On October 20, 2000, Lance and Lori Hollenbeck were united in marriage at Bethlehem Lutheran Church by the Rev. James Hartman.

He has been employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier at the Sheboygan Post Office for 20 years. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 102.

He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Vietnam Veterans of America.

Lance was an accomplished musician and was lead singer and guitarist for several local bands including Wall Street Rocks and the Eldorados.

He belonged to the Sheboygan Falls YMCA. He enjoyed playing basketball and loved nature and the outdoors.

Lance is survived by his wife and best friend, Lori; children, Kimberly Grohskopf and her husband, Chris, of Sheboygan, Jody Schuh and his special friend, Karen, of Middleton, WI, Amy Leannah of Milwaukee and Jason Leannah of Sheboygan. He also loved spending time with his two grandchildren, Brittany and Zachary Grohskopf. He is further survived by two brothers, Dennis and his wife, Jeri, of Green Bay, and Mando Jr. "Butch" and his wife, Holly, of Porterville, CA; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Helene and Robert Hollenbeck of Sheboygan Falls; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Lance O. Schuh will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan on Monday, February 19, 2001. The Rev. James Hartman will officiate.

Entombment will take place in the Resurrection Mausoleum at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
