Linda H. Eisenbraun, 82, of Lodi died May 30 at a local convalescent hospital following an extended illness. She was born Linda Schaffer on Oct. 3, 1913 near Huron, S.D.
Ms. Eisenbraun lived in Hot Springs, S.D. for several years and married Henry Eisenbraun in Lake Andes, S.D. on Oct. 31, 1935. The couple moved to Lodi in 1949.
She was primarily a homemaker but also assisted her husband with his refrigeration business for many years. She was also a longtime member of the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and sewing.
Ms. Eisenbraun is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Eisenbraun in 1983; a son, Dean, in 1964; and two brothers Alvin and Robert Schaffer.
Ms. Eisenbraun is survived by a son Bruce Eisenbraun of Visalia; a sister, Vera Christensen of Lodi; two brothers, Gerhard Schaffer of Chico and Linton Schaffer of South Dakota; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cherokee Memorial Park with Pastor Richard Biberdorf of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will not be held. Gerhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
