We are called to record the death of T.H. Bland, which occured at his residence in Courtland last Wednesday, Dec. 13th in his 64th year. In the death of Mr. Bland, his family lose a faithful husband and a good father; the Register a firm friend, and Courtland an officer and citizen, whose loss will be felt for a long time to come. He was ill only a few days, being attacked first by la grippe, and then lung fever. His disolution was painless, resembling the sleep of a little child. -- Courtland Register.
