“MRS. ALICE GRACE HORTON
Mrs. Alice Grace Horton, 59, resident of Sacramento for 37 years, died last night in her home, 2762 Marshall Way, after an illness of more than a year.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A. M. tomorrow in the Andrews & Greilich Funeral Home. Rev. Clifford Ford of the Oak Park Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Horton had been a fitter in the Hale Brothers Department Store and at the Hotel Senator Apparel Shop. Prior to coming to Sacramento, she resided in Riverside for 10 years. She was born in Cleveland, O.
Until her illness, she was active in the affairs o the Oak Park Methodist Church.
She leaves her daughters, Mrs. Laura Cook of Oakland and Mrs. Rosina Beaton of Sacramento; her son Horace Horton of Tracy; her sisters, Mrs. Laura Woodman of Long Beach and Mrs. Jessie Cooper of Riverside; and five grandchildren.”
