Louise Buzzard, 92, Neosho, Mo., died at 3:20 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Freeman West Hospital, following a short illness.

She was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Fulton, Mo., to Roy C. and Hallie (Bowman) Allen.

Mrs. Buzzard moved to Neosho in 1927 from Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was a bookkeeper and secretary for Ratliff Feed for thirty years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the High Street Christian Church and was active in MADD.

Her first husband, Marion Lester Pritchard, preceded her in death in June 1948. She later married Rev. Buel B. Buzzard on Jan. 28, 1956, in Carthage. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 2002.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Donna Pritchard, Diamond, Mo., and Stephen and Nancy Buzzard, Shell Knob, Mo.; five grandchildren, Kyle Buzzard and wife, Tina, John Buzzard, Philip Buzzard, Dana Mathis and husband, Tony, Derik Pritchard and wife, Holly; and eight great-grandchildren, Shawn and Bradley Buzzard, Ean and Quin Buzzard, Alana, Ethan and Blake Pritchard and Brayden Mathis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 23, at Clark Chapel of Memories with Rev. John Doolen officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, south of Neosho. Grandsons, Derik Pritchard, Tony Mathis, Kyle Buzzard, John Buzzard, Philip Buzzard and Shawn Buzzard, will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home, in care of the funeral home.
