Brandy leaves behind a large extended family and loving parents Carl & Leslie Harris of Houston and Caroline (Genny) & John Petty of El Campo; Sisters Kelly Harris, Hannah Petty and Step-sister Sydney Keller; Paternal Grandparents Delores & Hilan Jones of Houston and the late Cecil Harris; Maternal Grandparents Caroline Hall of Columbus, Georgia and the late Lt. Col. Wilson Hall; Step-Grandparents Melba & Ashley Christ. Brandy loved animals and was also close to Oreo, her cat. Loving friends from Duchesne Academy, where Brandy was a freshman student, held a candle light vigil at the Harris home on Thursday night. All of us who love Brandy remember her many talents including a beautiful singing voice, her athletic prowess she showed in track but most particularly in the way she joyfully and spontaneously danced to bring smiles. Her final talent and passion was in drawing as evidenced by the special pictures she created for her friends and family.
