Mrs. Alice Haithcock Norton, about 45, died at 10 o'clock last night at her residence, 704 Druid street after an illness of several years. A native of McCall, S. C. Mrs. Norton came to Greensboro 14 years ago. She resided in Salisbury several years prior to coming to Greensboro. Funeral arrangements had not been completed late last night.
Surviving are four sons, James Norton of Charlotte; Robert B., David and Edward Norton of Greensboro; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Swaim and Miss Dorothy Norton of Greensboro; four brothers, Earle Haithcock of Schoolfield, Va.; Tillman, Douglas and James Haithcock all of McCall, S. C. and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Norris and Mrs. Carrie Ransom, of McCall, S. C.
