MRS. HENRY BURK died at her home in Clarksville on Tuesday morning after four months' illness. Her maiden name was Caroline Virginia Dodson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walker Dodson, and was born in Sperryville, Virginia on April 2, 1858. She was married to Henry Burk in Virginia on December 29, 1879, and had lived in Illinois for the last 42 years. Mr. and Mrs. Burk were parents of ten children, six of whom survive: William R. Burk, Holloway, Minnesota; Mrs. Thomas Anderson, Little Falls, Minnesota; Mrs. Bernie Hiser, Colfax; Albert Burk, Lexington; Grover Burk, Towanda; and, Dewey Burk, Gridley. Also surviving is her husband and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Sisk of Worthington, Minnesota, and a brother, J. H. Dodson of Lexington.
