ELLSWORTH -- Amber Rathbun-Sharp, 36, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Ellsworth. She was born April 30, 1976, in Great Bend to Jerry Rathbun and Peggy Cox.
Amber was a lifetime resident of Ellsworth, where she was a homemaker. She married Hugh W. Sharp on Dec. 4, 2003, in Ellsworth. He preceded her in death.
Amber is survived by her son, Liam Sharp; parents, Peggy and Roger Schultz, of Ellsworth; brothers, Joshua Rathbun, of Manhattan, Travis Rathbun, of Salina, and Andy Schultz, of Kanopolis; sister, Melissa Vongphakdy, of Lawrence; grandfathers, Jack Rathbun, of Ellsworth, and Jim Crosby, of Lyons; and grandparents, Willis and Fern Schultz, of Ellsworth.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with burial in Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
