Carrie Eileen Mann

Carrie Eileen Mann, age 88, of Daniels, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, at the Raleigh Center in Daniels.

Born on July 16, 1924, at Abraham, she was the daughter of the late C.O. Smith and Flora Arthur Smith.

Mrs. Mann was a homemaker and a dedicated mother to her family. She had made her home in Daniels for most of her adult life.

Her husband, Fred F. Mann; a son Roger B. Smith, and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children; Rodney Smith and his wife Debbie of Bristol, Va., Sue Lilly and her husband Fred of Shady Spring, Margaret Vandall and her husband Randy of Shady Spring, Fred Mann and his wife Beth of East Bend, N.C., Nancy Ellison and her husband Jim of Flat Top. A daughter-in-law, Drema Smith of Beaver; two special friends, Lucille Adams of Beckley, and Janet Cooper of Daniels. A brother, C.O. Smith Jr. and his wife Norma of Dry Hill Road, Beckley, a sister Rachel Richmond of Greystone Village, Beaver. Numerous grandchildren and great–grandchildren are also among her survivors.

Committal services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum in Beckley on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jack Barber officiating. Burial will follow at the Cemetery.

Friends may call at the mausoleum from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
