Minnie Louise Westberg was born on 21 January 1902 at Union, South Dakota; also listed as 12 Jan 1902.1 She was the daughter of Herman N. Westberg and Ida Christine Peterson. Minnie Louise Westberg married Edward Andreas Abraham, son of Peder Abrahamson and Julia Christine Christensen, on 26 November 1935 at Beresford, Union, South Dakota; Thursday evening at seven o'clock occured the wedding of Miss Minne Westberg and Mr. Edward A. Abraham in the home of Miss Westberg's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Anderson... The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Clarence Abraham and Delmar Payson, a cousin of the bride... A reception was held that evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman N. Westberg... After a month's wedding trip in California and other points on the west coast, they will be at home on a farm near Alcester... Mr. Abraham is one of the progressive farmers of the Beresford vicinity and Mrs. Abraham has lived in that vicinity all her life. For several years she was a teacher in the Centerville schools where she made numerous friends.2 Minnie Louise Westberg died on 22 June 1999 at age 97.
