Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Helen (Stillman) Snow.
Mrs. McKay was employed for 30 years at North Shore Children's Hospital and for 10 years at the Lafayette Convalescent Home. She was also a longtime member of the Beverly Hospital Alumni Association, having graduated in 1959.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Pamela McKay of Rings Island, Elizabeth McKay of New York City, and Penny McKay of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one sister, Helen Cashman of Naples, Fla.; three brothers, Stillman Polley of Plantation, Fla., Robert Snow of Salem and Donald Snow of Marblehead; one granddaugher, Ann Bourque of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, G. Gibson Polley and Herbert "Bud" Polley.
