Geraldine O. Foster, age 89, of Indianapolis, Indiana and formerly of Metamora, Indiana died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at ManorCare Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born September 22, 1923 in Metamora, Indiana she was the daughter of the late George R. & Nora (Curry) Foster. She lived most of her life in Indianapolis, and was a Secretary at Union Railway, later retiring from its successor ConRail.

She was a member of the Metamora Church of Christ, the National Association of Railway Business Women which she served in various capacities as Past Chapter President for 8 years, National Second Vice President, and National Recording Secretary. She was voted District Woman of the year three times. She was a member of the Prospect Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, the Greater Indianapolis Republican Women's Club; the Perry Township Republican Club as well as the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

Family & friends may visit from 9:30 till 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the Chapel at East Hill Shrine, 779 East State Road 44, Rushville, Indiana.

Rev. Gary L. Hawes and Pastor James Burgess will officiate the Funeral Services on Saturday, April 13, 2013, 11:30 A.M., in the Chapel at East Hill Shrine Mausoleum in Rushville.
