DEATH CLAIMS WELL KNOWN TOWN RAPIDS WOMAN
Mrs. John Kodot(sic), nee Lena Neuser, died at her home near Alverno last night,
aged 50 years, her demise following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Kodot was
born at Rapids and had always made her home there. A husband and five children
survive her.

(Too late for last week.)
Mrs. John Kodet, aged 50 years, 4 months and 4 days, died Monday May 19 after a
long illness. She was married 30 years ago at Silver Lake to John Kodet who with
six children survives her. The children are John, Joseph, Edward, Ida, Genevieve,
and Magdelena. Mrs. Kodet was an affectionate wife and mother and was well liked
by all who new her. Her maiden name was Magdelena Neuser. She was born and raised
in the town of Rapids. The funeral was held on Wednesday, May 19 from the Catholic
church at Silver Lake and was largely attended. May her soul rest in peace.
