ANTON FISCHER

Death Thurs. morning last week of Anton Fischer, well-known resident of Town Manitowoc Rapids, from a stroke which he suffered the morning before. He was born in Bavaria in 1832 and has been a resident of Town Manitowoc Rapids since 1854.
He is survived by his widow and 10 children. The burial had been set for Fri. morning but on that very day his 18-yr. old daughter Franziska followed her father in death. The young lady was a victim of consumption. Both bodies were carried to their last rest on Sat. in the Alverno Cemetery.
