Mrs. Mary Cornelia Hewitt, 82, of 407 North Victoria St., died at home Sunday night after a lingering illness, Mrs. Hewitt was a resident of Victoria for 33 years and a lifelong resident of Texas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and an honorary member of the UDC.
Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday at the McCabe-Carruth chapel, Rev. John Newton officiating.
Pallbearers are Woodson Health, A. J. Dold, Sam Dold, R. D. Gillean, B. G. Albrecht, and Pat Keefe Jr.
Surviving is Mrs. Pat Keefe of Victoria.
