Gerald Heim was born March 12, 1922 to Charles and Pearl (Klima) Heim in Talmage, Kans.
He married Patrica Willard and they made their home in Nevada where he managed a lithium mine.
His wife died in 1982 and he moved to Litchfield (Nebraska) in 2002.
He lived at Seneca Sunrise in Ravenna (Nebraska) for the past two years.
Survivors include a sister, Frances Whited of Newport, Ore., a niece, Glenda Humphreys of Abilene, Kans., a nephew, Gerald Haynes, a great niece and her husband, Susan and Scott Bice of Litchfield and a great nephew, Chris Whited of Portland, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his wife, sisters, Guinevere Lyons and Anna Margaret Haynes, brother, Charles Heim, Jr. and a nephew, Mark Whited.
Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
