Funeral Services for Mr. Ronnie Emmett Carpenter, 67, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. R.C. Smith and Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Carpenter was born on February 13, 1946 in St. Landry, LA and died on April 8, 2013 in Monroe, LA. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing. Mr. Carpenter served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ann.

Survivors include his wife, Nola Carpenter; children, Tamatha Gonzalez, and Ronnie L. Carpenter; grandchildren, Austin Carpenter, Rennasin Smith, Emmett Tolleson, Devin Gonzalez, and Joseph Gonzalez; great grandchild, Lily Ann White; sister, Gay Lindsey and his step-children, Debbie Gilbert, Shelia Adams, Denise Holton, and Randy Wheelis.

Pallbearers will Daniel Gilbert, Jed Wheelis, Grill Gonzalez, Emmett Tolleson, Todd Holton, and Austin Carpenter. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church Chatham.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
