Frank James Elliott, son of James and Christina Becock Elliott was born on a farm near Republic, Kan., Feb. 24, 1888 and died Mar. 5, 1972 at the Nuckolls County hospital in Superior at the age of 84 years and 10 days.

He was educated at the Lake school near Republic.

He married Bessie Helfer July 27, 1910. To this union five children were born.

May 14, 1943 he married Jessie Taylor. They farmed near Republic until 1951 when they moved to Hardy. In 1971 they moved to the Samaritan home in Superior.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Haecher.

Survivors are: three daughters, Mrs. Marva Goodger of ElToro, Calif., Mrs. Oral (Ferne) Owen and Mrs. Cecil (Lorene) Owen both of Mankato; one son, Myron E. of Alaska; two sisters, Edna Porter and Nora Perkins, both of Long Beach, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Mar. 8 from the Union church in Hardy with the Rev. Peter Trucano officiating. Burial was at Lake cemetery near Republic.
