Wayne Lee Stover, 74, of Valdosta died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born in Findlay, Ohio, to the late Claude Montgomery Stover and Gertrude Alice Snyder Stover and had lived in Valdosta for the past six months. Mr. Stover was a retired supervisor with Arlington Trolley Company and an active and lifetime member of the Margate Volunteer Fire Deparment. Survivors include his wife, Sue Ellen Hiatt Stover of Valdosta, son and daughter in law, Michael and Angela Stover of Gloversville, NY, daughter and son in law, LeAnne and Phillip Boswell of Milton, Fla., son, David Lee Stover of Decatur, TN, daughter, Karen Fawn Stover of Milton, Fla., 11-grandchildren, 13-great grandchildren, two stepsons and a stepdaughter in law, Robert and Stephanie Ferry of Riverview, Fla., Ricky Ferry of Haymarket, VA, his sister, Anita Blackmon of Ocala, Fla. In accordance with Mr. Stover's request he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later time.
