H. L. BUNCH
Bro. H. L. Bunch died at his home in his 64th year, in the afternoon of April 21. He had been sick only a few days. He was unable to stand the combined attack of both grippe and pneumonia.
He was connected with some of the best families of Lafayette County.
He had been a christian since early life, and a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. His life was consistent and in harmony with his profession.
He and the companion left to mourn his departure, had raised to manhood and womanhood, three sons and three daughters. All were present at the time of his death save one daughter, who was detained at home on account of a sick child.
He was my friend, as well as my brother in Christ. I shall miss him, but the wife and children will miss him most.
The service was conducted by the writer in Clear Creek Church, where he had so long been a member, and his remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near by, to await the resurrection.
May Gods grace sustain and keep the bereaved ones.
