Funeral Services will be held at Perry Funeral Home. 5045 Trumbull St in Detroit at 12:00 pm March 20, 2002. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Detroit.
Pallbearers are his grandsons Patrick Jr, Keith, Michael, Bobby Jr, Donny Jr & John.
His son Donny will officiate the services.
Matt was born June 3 1921 to the late Edgar Copeland & Emily Gertrude Loftis in Gainesboro Jackson Tennessee.
In May 1939 he married Elizabeth Goolsby they had 4 children. Ronnie, Billy, Jeannie, John Edward all of Tennessee.
He came to Michigan in the late 1950's.
In 1960 he married Sally Ellsworth Bonasse they had 6 children Bobby, Donny, Nancy, Matthew, Johnny Bill & Tammy. All of Michigan.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by; his second wife Sally Ellsworth. All of his brothers & sisters, Bonnie, William, Gather, Louvernia & Herod. Also 3 sons Billy, John Edward & Johnny Bill.
