Dale Mackey Wolf, 58, of Mechanicsburg, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at his home.
Born October 27, 1951 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late George B. Sr. and Mildred M. Mackey Wolf.
He was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. He retired from Ralph E. Jones of Harrisburg as a painter and paper hanger. He was a member of the Painters and Allied Trades Union Local 411. He was a member of Hope Grace Brethren Church of Dillsburg. He was a ASA and a PIAA softball umpire. He was a US Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Lois Wolf of Mechanicsburg, one son: Christopher Wolf (and wife, Robyn) of Baldwin, MD and one daughter, Toni Laing (and husband, Max) of Gettysburg, three grandsons: Brayden Wolf, Colby Wolf and Aaron Laing and two brothers: George Wolf of Mechanicsburg and Steven Wolf of Washington, PA.
Celebration of Dale's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Hope Grace Brethren Church, 110 Old York Road, Dillsburg with Rev. Dale Hippensteel and Rev. Andrew Moyer officiating. A private burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.
