GALE G ORTH

Gale G. Orth, 66, of 1276_B Dewey St., Kiel, died Wednesday evening, July 2, 1997 at Willowdale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where he resided for the past 2 ½ months.
He was born Sept. 15, 1930 in Manitowoc, son of the late Norman and Edna Christel Orth. He was a 1948 graduate of Kiel High School. On Sept. 19, 1953, he married Carol Hartman at Holy Name Catholic Church, Sheboygan. Gale was employed at H. G. Weber Company, Kiel, for 25 years as an electrician, retiring in 1992. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean Conflict from 1951-53. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel and a retired member of Kiel Fire Department and Kiel Ambulance Service. Gale enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; five children, twins, Paul (Debbie) Orth, Sarasota, Fla., Peggy Koenig, Kiel; Mary Jo (Steve) Floate, Menasha; Sue (Mark) Winkel, St. Anna; Tom (Vicki) Orth, Kiel; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Chuck (Puddy) Orth, Kiel and three sisters, Janet Stecker, Kiel; Mary (Gerald) Dechant, Milwaukee and Kathryn (David) Bunge, Kiel.
A Funeral Mass will be at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, with Rev. Loren Nys, SDS officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
