Adelene Ann Stoller, 87, of Burlington, died at 3:10 AM Monday, April 8, 2013, at the Blair House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Burlington.

Born July 30, 1925, in Quincy, IL, she was the daughter of Dwight and Dorothy Koch Harvey. On June 6, 1946, she married Paul William Stoller in Quincy, IL. He died December 1, 1995.

She attended St. Francis Catholic Grade School and graduated from Quincy High School.

Adelene had worked for Quincy Compressor Company, prior to her marriage. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of SS. John and Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed animals especially horses and cats and spending time outdoors. She was very proud of her family and her home and cherished times spent with them.

Survivors include one son, Gregory Paul (Gail) Stoller of Columbus Junction; two daughters, Stephanie Ann (Jerry) Staff and Monica Marie Siefken both of Burlington; four grandchildren, Barbara (Keelan) Parham, Eric Stoller, Shaun Stoller, and Erin (Jason) Vorwerk; two great-grandchildren, Brady Parham and Kaley Parham; one brother, Richard "Dick" (Norma) Harvey of Quincy, IL; one sister, Janice (Alfred) Maple of Liberty, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son and one son-in-law, John Siefken.

Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends following a 6:00 PM Rosary Service until 7:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2013 at Thielen Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Stoller will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Father Bruce A. DeRammelaere as the Celebrant. Music will be provided by the Des Moines County Resurrection Choir. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held in St. John's Cafeteria following the burial.

A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
