Sheila Jan Holt, age 56, of Denison, Texas, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 3, 1956, in Amarillo, Texas, to Weldon Elbert and Jean Wagner Garner. She married Chester Holt in Sherman, Texas. She was a homemaker and a high school graduate. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Chester, of the home, mother Ruby Garner of Denison, Texas, her children, Brian Dunaway and Andrea, Denison, Tx., Kimberly Firquain and John of Denison, Tx., Chester Lee Holt, Denison, Tx., Chestina Holt, Denison, Tx, brother, Charles Garner and Sharan, Colbert, Ok., grandchildren, Gregory, May, Adonnis, Logan, Ethan, a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Weldon Garner and brother Danny Elbert Garner. Family and friends visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013, from 1 – 2 pm. Prior to the Funeral Service which will be held April 9, 2013 at 2 pm, at American Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Dalton Jaco will officiate. Interment will follow at Cherry Mound Cemetery, Denison, Texas.
