Mrs. Louis Bescanceney

Mrs. Vernoica E. Besanceney, 82, former resident of 716 Napoleon street,died Monday at 5:20 a.m. in the Winnes Nursing Home for the Aged, Second street. She had been ill four years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) Kledzik. Fremont, and a son, the Rev. Paul H. Besanceney, S. J., ,John Carroll university, Cleveland; sisters Mrs. Therese Pfeiffer, Bowling Green: Mrs. A. A. (Irene) Halm, Fremont, and Mrs. Edward (Helen) Michel, Oak Harbor: brother, Clarence Foos, Bowling Green. There are nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Besanceney was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Besanceney in 1960, daughters. Jean and Mildred; son, Donald, one great grand-son, four sisters and one brother.
A native of Bowling Green, Mrs. Besanceney was born May 14, 1885, daughter of George and Magdalene Autenbach Foos She was married June 29, 1910.
A member of St. Joseph church, Mrs. Besanceney was also a member of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament, Rosary Society, Daughters of Isabella, Marian Society, Legion of Mary and Jesuit Mothers.
A Solemn Requiem High Mass will be offered Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph church with burial in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ochs funeral home. Visitation starts Saturday at 7 p.m.

A Solemn Requiem High Mass for Mrs. Veronica Besanceney, 82, former resident of 716 Napoleon street, was offered by the Rev. Paul H. Besanceney S.J. of Cleveland, a son, Wednesday in St. Joseph church. Father Leo Lehmkuhl was deacon and Father Ernest Seebaldt S.J.. Cleveland, subdeacon. Father Russell Gillig was master of ceremonies and Father Lehmkuhl gave the sermon.
Burial was in the parish cemetery with the Och funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were Ernest Buchrer, Paul and John Kledzik. James Park, Kenneth Michael and Robert Halm.
