Nicole was born in and lived most of her life in Santa Barbara, California. Her mother was very young when Nicole was born. 'Nikki' was raised by her maternal grandmother Diana. She attended 'Dos Pueblos' High School in Goleta, where she was a member of the Madrigals Jazz Choir. She moved to Bakersfield with her grandmother in 2004, where she graduated from Highland High School that same year.

Nicole was an honor student, a class secretary, and
was very active in theater and choir. She loved to sing, draw and write beautiful poetry. Her favorite hobby was creating jewelry.

She traveled to Boston and later to New York with her theater group and her mom to see Broadway shows and the sites. Nikki visited Washington DC with friends and Oregon and Las Vegas with her grandmother where they saw the five biggest shows on the strip in one week.

Nicole had a beautiful spirit, a warm heart, and a smile that would light up a room. She loved and cared about
people and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Nicole died during the early morning hours at her home in Bakersfield. Her grandmother and sister found her the next afternoon when they went to her home to check on her. She was on her knees, next to her bed with her dog by her side.
