My dearest mother married my father, Ewald Sukkert on June 13, 1936 at St. Mary's church in South Milwaukee. They had 5 children and lived in the Oak Creek area all of their lives. She dedicated her life to her family. They bought land on Pickerel Lake for their much longed for retirement that never happened.
