After a courageous battle with COPD, Bob passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and son by his side.

He was one of four children born to the late William E. and Dorothy L. (Hunter) Dale, and was the beloved husband of Connie (Mansbridge) for 53 years.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Connie; loving son, John K. (Elaine M.); treasured grandchildren, Keith A. and Isobella M.; loving sisters, Barbara J. (Kenneth D.) Strickler, Judy L. (Angelo M.) Kimanas; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Bob is preceded in death by a loving daughter, Sherrie Lynn Burke and sister, Nancy.
Bob served this great country in the U.S. Army reserves, 37th Inf. Div., Com. D, at Fort Hayes, where his skills as a company cook were the stuff of legends.
A member of the Freemasons, his string of activities included, Past Master of Mt. Sterling Lodge 269, 32nd degree Scottish Rite of Columbus, Past District Deputy Grand Master 9th District, Shriners Drum and Bugle Corp, and DeMolay advisor.

Bob loved caring for his wife and family, listening to music, the outer banks islands of North Carolina, laughing, nature, world and American history, Ohio State football and basketball.
Bob touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. He was truly a "Big Fish."

"And now the man of the hour has taken his final bow, as the curtain comes down, I feel that this is just, Goodbye for now."
