Charles Henry Schneeberger, age 93, of Buffalo, Minn., formerly of Hudson, Wis., died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo. He was born July 8, 1913, in Ashland, the son of John and Anna Reismundy Schneeberger. Charles was baptized on July 20, 1913, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Ashland. He was a retired machinist and lived in South Texas for nearly 20 years following his retirement. Charles enjoyed playing in a country music band, deer and partridge hunting. He is survived by a son, James (Janet) Schneeberger of Buffalo, Minn.; four grandchildren, Michael Schneeberger, Karen Boatman, Paul Leach and Scott Leach and five great-grandchildren, Kjirsten Schneeberger, Matt, Brittany, MacKenzie and Niklas Boatman. Preceded in death by wives, parents, brothers and sisters, an infant sibling, a daughter, Mary Ann Leach and by a son-in-law, Donald Leach. A memorial service was held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo, with private interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Ashland. The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.
