Barbara J. Butcher, 75, of Fairmount, died Friday, April 5 in Wesleyan Health Care Center, Marion. A mother and grandmother, she was able to spend the last few hours of her life with her family.

She was the daughter of the late Lonzo Randol and the late Hazel (Cunningham) Randol. She was born in Summitville, Ind., on July 2, 1937.

Barbara worked as a nurse's aide for 12 years at University Nursing Center of Upland. Barbara enjoyed playing the piano at Community Chapel Church where she was a member and singing with Naomi at other churches. She enjoyed camping, cooking, shopping and gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie (David) Warrum, Pendleton; sons, Todd (Mindy) Butcher, and Rick (Corina) Butcher, both of Fairmount; two step-sons, Ralph (Angie) Enyeart, Colorado Springs, Co., and Derrell (Cindy) Enyeart Jr., Lapel; sister, Naomi Enyeart, Fairmount; two brothers, Kenny (Dorothy) Randol, Indianapolis, and Jack (Bertha) Randol; special nephew, Lee Lamb; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her life partner, Derrell Enyeart Sr., and five siblings.

Services are at 11 a.m. Wedneday April 10 in Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, with the Rev. Leo Moore officiating. Interment is in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
