Bessie A. Kimenhour, age 93, a resident of Hidden Meadows on the Ridge Assisted Living, who resided in Ottsville, PA for many years passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015.

Bessie was the beloved wife of Harold Kimenhour who died in 1993.

Born in Mt. Pleasant, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Ada (Robbins) Stout.

She was employed by the Palisades School District for 25 years.

Bessie was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ferndale. She was also an active member, for 50 years, of the Ottsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Eastern Upper Bucks Seniors.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen J. Hoyt (Marshal “Skip”), her sons, Dennis (Joanne), Douglas (Lani) and three grandchildren, David (Caitlyn), Leah Chabai (Paul) and Dean and a great granddaughter, Kayla. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald, three sisters and one brother.

Bessie’s funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am until the time of service. Internment will follow in Nockamixon Union Cemetery, Ferndale.
