"Mrs. Daniel Putt, who, for some time past, had been seriously ill transferred her pain into an eternal happiness by death. She was 71 years 2 months and 15 days old and left two sons and eight daughters and 22 grand children and two great grand children to mourn the death of this fondly loved mother. Mr. Putt and family moved here from Tuscarawas County, in 1885, and since that time the deceased has made many friends. She lift the world in hope of a blessed immortality, leaving many friends to mourn her departure."
