Elizabeth M. Burgess, widow of James W. Burgess, 1720 Center Point road NE, a Cedar Rapids, resident 60 years, died Friday folllowing a brief illness. She was born April 17, 1872 at Lima, Ohio. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. R.F. Shook of Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Burgess was affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Services: Turner chapel at 1:30 Monday by Mr. Gene Haferbecker. Burial: Buffalo cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
