He was a member of the Zion Baptist Church. He was a member of Pride of Hagerstown Elks No. 273, and various Elks organizations. He was retired after 15 years with the Pangborn Corp. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Iamo J. Wilson; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie M. Copper and Mrs. Anna V. Jones, both of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Sadie Webb, of Philadelphia; one brother, William O. Wilson of Hagerstown, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Zion Baptist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Moses J. Lifsey will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church this evening from 7 to 8 and at the church Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the Watson Funeral Home.
