Following from "Genealogical and family history of the state of Maine" by G.T. Little, page 1437:

Benjamin Larrabee, Jr., sixth child and second son of Benjamin Larrabee, Sr. who lived on Pleasant Hill in Scarborough and died December 17, 1763 in the 63rd year of his age and was buried in Black Point Cemetery. Benjamin Sr. married, December 4, 1724, Sarah, daughter of Samuel and Abigail Johnson of Kittery. She died December 26, 1789 in the 86th year of her age.

William, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Lydia, Benjamin, Miriam, and Jonathan.

1775- Engaged at Captain on July 1st. Service of 6 months, 6 days on the coast in Cumberland County.
1776- On Feb. 5th chosen as second Major of Colonel Jonathan Mitchell's (Second Cumberland County) Regiment of Massachusetts Militia. Commissioned February 7th.

1778- Married Hannah Skillings, widow on July 28th: Col. Benjamin Larrabee.

1828- Hannah died at age 81 on September 26th.

Gravesite Details

Slate with 'urn and weeping willow' carving in the style of Portland stone cutter Bartlett Adams, most likely executed by Joseph Thompson. Broken; repair failed.
