JOS. F. RAPPEL PASSES AWAY
Retired Wholesaler Dies At His Home Last Night
Joseph F. Rappel, 73, Manitowoc route 1, retired cheese wholesaler, died last night at his home.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:15 from the Pfeffer funeral home and at 10 o'clock from the St. Mary's Catholic church, Clark's Mills. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Rappel was born Feb. 22, 1863. He married Miss Rolletta Smith fifty years ago. For 15 years before his retirement Mr. Rappel operated the J.F. Rappel Wholesale company in Manitowoc.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, Marcus of Pinconning, Mich.; Silas of Hale, Mich.; and Amos of River Forest, Ill.; and two daughters, Mrs. Ray McCarthy, Manitowoc, and Miss Harriet Rappel at home.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Sunday morning until the time of the service Monday.
