Mr. Phillips was born June 10, 1918, in Cambridge, MA. He was a police officer for the So. Yarmouth Police Dept. He was a WW II Army Veteran of the 295th Joint Assault Signal Company. He fought in the No. Solomons, So. Phillipines, Marianas and Luzon Campaigns. He was awarded four Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. He was a Christian by faith. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Higanis, MA. He is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Buck, Lake Tapawingo, MO; granddaughter, Shelly Crane, Lake Lotowana, MO; and Evelyn Phillips.
