After Catherine died, Philip remarried to the widow Mrs. Sophia Ann Harrison Keicher (1818-1897) on 23 Oct 1856 at Edwards County, Illinois and had an additional two known children.
Emanuel first married to Cynthia E. Harrison (1838-1880) on 19 May 1856 at Edwards County, Illinois. Emanuel and Cynthia were the parents of nine known children, namely:

2. Lois Clodfelter Sheehan (1859-1911)
3. Allen A. Clodfelter (1861-1932)
4. Oscar Clodfelter (1863-1892)
